In the late 1990s, the construction of small-scale rural substations in my country required high-voltage fuses and load switches for protection. However, such equipment was unavailable both domestically and internationally at the time, resulting in complex substation construction plans, high equipment investment, and the inability to achieve automated operation. Using disconnect switches meant that normal loads and transformers could not be switched on or off, and there was a risk of misoperation. With the construction of unmanned rural substations, the demand for 35kV high-voltage load disconnect switches became urgent.

 

The development of the GFW-35 high-voltage disconnect load switch filled the gap in the domestic market, addressing the shortcomings of traditional disconnect switches. Its technical specifications and reliability met the needs of unmanned rural substations at that time.

 

Junlang Electric applied for a patent in January 2026 for a "Parallel Load Switch for Primary and Secondary Integrated Environmentally Friendly Gas Cabinets" (publication number CN121583827A). This patented technology achieves arc-free operation of the main disconnecting contact through structures such as parallel vacuum interrupters.
